Natascha from the “Vintage Tea Room” in Nykøbing F. and Karin from Hideaway Winery are both fascinated of the techniques and skills it takes to produce good tea and delicate wines. It’s a matter of good craftmanship, knowledge and to a sudden measure also historic tradition.

At this tasting you can enjoy Natascha present 6 different teas almost in the same way a Sommelier presents a flight of wines – letting you into the world of tea – how to grow it, fermentation, drying, and how to keep it, and little secrets or fun facts about some of the teas and the servings that follow along.

Karin on the other hand will let you into the art of sweet wines, and you will taste them along with some traditional English cakes, to give you an idea on how to match sweet wines and cakes.    

• 6 different teas – presented to you both dried and served hot in teacups along with small trad. English servings such as Scoones and sandwiches
• 3 different cakes along with the two sweet wines of Hideaway – the Noble Sweet Solaris and the Goosefoot
• Possibility to buy some rare and delicate teas with you home

The tasting will be held in English language, at the Traktørsted at Hideaway Winery. Guests this evening are seated at our cosy long tables and you will be working around the tasting in groups of 4 people.
